The conquest of learning is achieved through the knowledge of language -Roger Bace- Hence with the aims of bridging the gap between the student mind and English language, the English day of the primary college was held on the 8th of November 2019. Rev. Fr. Benet Shantha and Rev. Fr. Dhanushka Fernando graced this glamorous event as the chief guests. The Rector of our college, Rev. Fr. Priyanjeewa Gunarathne, the principals and teachers of the neighboring schools participated to glorify our occasion. There was yet another very interesting spotlight of the day. It was the initial launch of the primary English Magazine "Luna" which was filled with creative material of students. As the moon brighten up the whole world with its reflection the little vazians the whole society by showing their thoughts through the magazines. English competitions were held throughout the month of October and there was a special "Village Fair" performed by the grade 3 students. As well as with the hope of interesting the fluency of English language. The amount of sweat and team shed for the success of this event has to be appreciated as there was very enthusiastic guidance given by the principal of primary section, Rev. Fr. Janaka Nishantha and the support of teachers, students, parents and the whole school community alike.
